Frequently Asked Questions

  • I am still working out the kinks of an online artisan shop, so in the meantime the best way to purchase is by contacting me directly.

Each available stable has a contact me link. Once you contact me, I will send you an invoice, and then work out the details to get your dream stable delivered to their new home.

  • No, they do not. I have a limited number of Bandito molds that I paint and offer for sale alongside my dream barns. Bandito was carefully sculpted with a unique style to fit the charm of my stable designs.

  • I only offer custom model horse design on a case-by-case basis. Basically, it depends on how difficult it is to paint your horse. My specialty is interior design, and I am working on improving my model horse skills every day. If you are lucky enough to own something so unique I cannot replicate it in model horse form, that doesn’t mean we can’t include them in the stable design. I can include a framed portrait of your horse in the stable, their name on the stall door, their favorite treats, etc.

  • At this time I do not have any official artist recommendations, but feel free to reach out and ask! I am happy to point you in the right direction on your search to find a model horse artist that can create your dream horse if Bandito isn’t quite your style or if your horse needs a masterfully experienced artist to re-create them.

  • If my Bandito molds aren’t the right fit for you, there are many options for custom and off-the-shelf model horses that look adorable tucked away in their stall or hanging out in the cross ties.

As long as the horse’s body fits into a 5”X5” area, and the tip of the horse’s nose to the end of its tail measures about 6” or less, you should be fine.

My stable is built to be roughly 1:24 scale. Off-the-shelf brands like Schleich or Collecta should work, but if you are looking of something higher quality to adorn your stables, there are plenty of custom model horse artists that can create something for you. Or you can browse sites like eBay or Model Horse Collection for beautiful models.

  • Head on over to the custom stables page to learn more. Fill out the form, and I will be in touch!

  • Custom stables are priced on a case by case basis. A basic stable that is painted, has some furnishings and hardware, and some simple accessories is going to cost $189 for a single stall floor plan or $329 for a double stall floor plan.

If you have any special requests, such as wallpaper, framed pictures, specific grooming supplies, hanging tack, hay nets, custom painted model horse, stall placards, or any other amazing ideas (I’m here for them!) the price will vary. It mostly depends on time and the cost of materials.

Most people want some extra flair on their stables and everyone has unique ideas I love to incorporate. On average, people who order a custom stable spend about $250 on single stall floor plans and anywhere from $350-$500 on double stall floor plans.

Whatever your budget, I’ll take your ideas and do my very best to create a design that you love.

  • For anything in my shop, once I send you an invoice, you have 48 hours to complete payment. If you miss that deadline, please reach out to inquire regarding availability and to receive a new invoice. Products will only be shipped once the invoice is paid.

For custom stables, payment in full is required for new customers up front. If you are a repeat customer, a deposit to cover the cost of materials is required to begin, and the rest is due once the stable is complete and ready to ship.

  • I spend countless hours on each stable, carefully piecing together every detail. I try not to think about how it all breaks down and what my hourly rage really is lol.

But if you are wondering how long it takes from ordering a custom stable to completion, it depends. The more complicated the request, the more time I will need to perfect the design.

On average, it takes 3-4 weeks to create a stable and 1-2 weeks to paint a horse. However, it has taken up to 3 months for some projects to reach completion. The time frame for your specific request is something we will discuss before any agreements are made or invoices are sent out.

  • All sales are final. No returns, no exchanges, no refunds. If the product is damaged in transit, I will provide a shipping label and ask you to ship the product back to me free of charge. I will make any necessary repairs, and then return it to you.
