Bandito
No stable is complete without a horse to call it home.
When I started designing stables, I spent countless hours pouring into my design process but I always knew that without a horse, my stables would be lifeless. There are plenty of model horses in the world that fit beautifully in my stables, but I wanted to create something special for Starloo Stables. And so, I put just as much work into learning how to sculpt as I did how to build. I wanted my mold to be detailed and beautiful, but have the same cutesy charm as the rest of my stable. I wanted it to feel natural, like it belonged there, and in a unique scale that made sense. I wanted my mold to be ambiguous enough to resemble multiple breeds and look insanely cute hanging out in the crossties.
As my business grows, I will probably create more “breed specific molds”, but I knew I needed to start with one special little horse to breathe life into my barns and make their home in its stalls. And so, this mold was sculpted and tirelessly perfected to capture the adorable and unique essence of Starloo Stables. The first time I held his tiny finished form in my hands, he stole my heart. So I named him “Bandito.”
Custom painted Bandito models are available for purchase alongside my dream stables starting at $89 for basic coats, and $139 for flashy horses with lots of chrome.
